This bright eyed and bushy tailed lady has more energy than I ever could have imagined. She is not shy nor passes up the opportunity to have fun!
Erin has a very supportive family that has connected her to many schools and resources throughout her life to give her extra support. Erin’s family does a great job of including Erin in anything she wishes to do or try. Within minutes of a conversation with Erin, you will hear her talk about her dad, her hero.
Erin brightens up every room with her smile, laugh and stories. She told me about her love for Dolly Parton, pizza, dancing and that she won Consumer of the Year at CDC last year all over lunch yesterday! She joined in singing Amazing Grace on an elevator and told numerous stories about her accomplishments.
Erin, nor her family, define her by a disability. Erin does not focus on anything but her abilities. Erin is an inspiration to myself and other staff to always see the ability in a person.
If you see Erin once, you’ll never be a stranger to her any longer! She loves to meet new friends. Well done, Erin!
